Dear Sirs ,
I am a 68 year old man who had never had any surgery of any type in my entire life and I was totally doctor-phobic.Additionally ,I'm a fanatical bike rider and dancer, who plays tennis and skis regularly .My knee was my life.My girl friend Kathleen Jackson NP of Charles River associates referred me to : DR. DANIEL B. OSUCH M.D. to repair a torn minicus in my left knee. It would be hard to describe the intense degree of fear I had surrounding the prospect of going "under the knife for the first time. Also I might add ,that my sister is Christian Scientist,so my family history did not support what I was about to do.
Dr Osuch, with his kind, low-key,assuaging maner was able to defuse some of my extreme paranioa about the impending operation.Dr. Osuch never portrayed any arrogance or a pedantic attitude while thoughly explaining what the operation would envolve.I never felt rushed by him, nor did he ever dismiss my fears, but instead he played along with my twisted brand of humor, which I used to hide my fears. His bed -side manner is deserving of a Emmy'' and one believes that it is real ,because his face agrees with what he says.
The operation was a miraculous success. I never took any pain medication that I was given.I followed Dr Osuch's "flexible activity instructions"and after 6 weeks I'm feeling like I'm about 90% back to being whole again and I'm able to ride my bike 25 miles and dance as I wish.
I hope that other patients are never apprehensive about Dr.Osuch's young -boy's face and thinking that he may not have the accumen that a grey -haired docter might have, but I think his generation has had a huge advantage in growing up with video games and increasing their manual dexterity beyond the level of their older peers. That is just my theory, however the fact still prevails that Dr .Osuch is a great surgeon. Thank you Dr Osuch for keeping my life whole.
