What our patients have to say about us:

To let you know how well Megan Welsh treats your clients-A +plus on time efficient, helpful, and a pleasant visit…thank you!
Robert Russo

The office staff was so helpful and customer service was top notch! I had to bring my two young children with me and all the staff members were so kind and personable to all of us making the visit a pleasant experience. Without hesitation I will recommend Dr. Rose and Orthopedics New England.

Dr. Zannikos is wonderful from the minute you meet him. He is an exceptional communicator, explains the causes, personal case, and surgical options in simple to understand terms. His compassion and empathy to me and my family were remarkable. He spent quality time with us before and after the surgery. I would highly recommend him to any one considering spinal surgery as he’s one of the best.
Phil Kuehne

Dr. Z, You never said you couldn’t help me. You told me this operation would be different from the fusion and it was. You told me that you didn’t think I would have a lot of pain from the surgery and I didn’t. AND you noticed something was wrong with my left hip watching me walk.
Orthopedics New England is a phenomenal place. Everyone from the front desk to the x-ray techs to the doctors (Dr. Sullivan and Osuch) is all so pleasant and helpful. I feel very lucky to have you as my doctor. You are the perfect model of how doctors should engage with their patients. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Osuch repaired my knee with arthroscopic surgery and it was a welcome success. Even after 1 day of recovery I felt better than I had in years. Certainly every surgical situation is different, but after my experience with him I have confidence that any patient of his would be in good hands with him attending. It is rare to find doctors who are good in the diagnosis and OR, as well as in recovery and post op. Warm and caring “bedside manners” can be hard to come by these days. With Dr. Osuch, I felt he was attendant to how I was feeling… physically and emotionally… in addition to doing the superb surgical work itself. He took the time to explain and to listen. Subsequent to my surgery I found out that he has worked with other friends of mine: we all had the same positive, helpful, productive experience, and we all would recommend him without hesitation. A+++ in my book. Thank you.
Beth Cliff

My daughter got injured in NYC. She had to move home with a knee injury. Dr. Sean Rockett did her surgery today. No other ortho in Boston would consider it because of insurance reasons. He is an outstanding person! He has been top notch, and kind, and amazing!

I had very little movement in my right shoulder. I went to see Dr. Christiano who gave me 1 cortisone shot which did not help. I had another cortisone shot under x-ray guidance which helped very little. He then ordered an MRI which showed a small rotator cuff tear and 2 bone spurs, so we scheduled surgery. After surgery, it was found that the rotator cuff was fine, and he removed the large bone spurs plus lots of arthritis. I am going back to work 30 days sooner than expected. I was EXTREMELY lucky to have found this doctor. He is always on time, professional and pleasant. He gets 10 stars!
Susan Bagnoli

I came in for my right hand, I saw Dr. Saillant. The surgery went very well, and now I can use my hand. He is an excellent surgeon and very nice.
Eleanor Shea

At the advice of a friend, I visited Dr. Rockett as a result of a fall on ice, injuring both my left knee and right shoulder. I was hesitant to visit him because I believed specialists who are good with knees usually are just ok with shoulders. I could not have been more wrong. Dr.Rockett first successfully repaired my meniscus. The day after surgery I was walking well and had no pain. In a week it was like nothing happened. Three weeks later Dr. Rockett repaired my rotator cuff, bicep tendon, impingement, etc. I was amazed again. Minimum discomfort. In two weeks I was going to physical therapy. My shoulder and arm are stiff but no pain. I have told my story to a number of folks, some of who have made appointments for their difficulties. He is the best orthopedic surgeon you could ask for.
William Batchelor

I had rotator cuff surgery in October 2015 and May 2016. Dr. Rockett reassured me, and I have 100% confidence I will get better. He is patient and gives you time to ask questions and calls to check on patients after surgery. He truly cares for his patients and wants to see them returned to be able to do what they love. Best doctor and would highly recommend him!!!!
Patricia Wentworth

I can’t thank Dr. Osuch enough for everything he has done for me. I am a dancer and sometimes a lot of people don’t understand dancer injuries but Dr. Osuch knows just how to handle any of my injuries. I have had a lot of complications with my hip and my thigh and anytime that I needed to see him he made sure that I could get in and we would find the best solutions to make me feel better. Thank you for taking care of me.
Amanda Sadin

I first staring seeing Dr. Osuch in June with regards to pain in my right shoulder. He was very thorough in his testing and thought processes throughout my whole experience. Come to find out I had tore my labrum. He was not quick to jump to surgery as he wanted to explore ever option. I did follow through with a SLAP repair surgery. Pre and post op he was very informative of what I should expect. He explained every step of the process and made me feel more comfortable with the surgery. I am now almost 3 months post op and am very happy with my results. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and return to him if I were to have an future injuries. He is for sure one of the most informative, friendly, and trustworthy doctors I have had.
Alexis Sergi

Dr. Zannikos performed a laminectomy on me in July, and two months later, I’m feeling great, better than in the past several years. Dr. Zannikos provided exceptional responsiveness, caring, and professionalism throughout the whole process. He is a superb surgeon who instilled confidence in me and kept me informed in advance of what to expect and how things would be handled. I would recommend him highly to anyone with spine or back issues. Thank you so much Dr. Zannikos! And thank you to the whole team at Orthopedics New England and Leonard Morse Hospital.
Robert Carnegie

Can’t thank Dr. Rockett enough for my new knees everything went great. The only thing I can say is that I shouldn’t have waited so long. I have a much better life now.
Maryann Miller

Dr. Osuch put my shattered patella back together with remarkable success. From day one Dr. Osuch was an outstanding professional that not only repaired my knee with an amazing surgery but guided and cared for me all the way to full recovery. It was a long tough year of healing and physical therapy but with Dr. Osuch’s expertise advice I have my knee back and working and you can barely see a scar. I highly recommend Dr. Osuch to anyone.
Gary E Davis

I just wanted to take a moment and thank Dr. Sean Rockett for the great work on the two surgeries he did for me. I had a rotated cuff done back in December 2013 and elbow surgery in August 2014. Everything you and your staff have done for me is greatly appreciated. Both surgeries went smooth and I have had a wonderful recovery!
Robert Wellford

I have had ankle pain for a while as my primary care doctor was trying to figure out what was wrong. She could not, so she referred me to Orthopedics New England, and it has been the best care I have ever received. Dr. Rose is so caring and compassionate and I can’t say all the words I would like to on how wonderful he is. He first said that he wanted to surgically fix my ankle and then the next appointment I had with him, he said I re-looked at your MRI’S and he said it some place where I really don’t want to do surgery. So I accepted that and he referred me to a wonderful physical therapist that he has been working with for over 30+ years. He takes the time to sit down and talk to his patients which I really like. He likes to exhaust all options before going the surgery route. I would recommend Dr. Mark Rose D.P.M. to any one that need foot or ankle help. Thanks again Dr. Rose and the wonderful Orthopedic New England Staff!
Darby Flynn

Dr. Osuch is an amazing doctor! He cares about his patients and wants them to have as little pain as possible. He did knee surgery on my left knee in 2013 and just did my right knee two weeks ago. Due to my diabetes I have a longer recovery process, and Dr. Osuch had made sure that I have the least painful recovery process as possible. I would recommend him to anyone and it’s nice to know that there are still doctors that care about their patients and Dr. Osuch is definitely one of them!
Adrienne Brown

I just want to extend a sincere thank you to all the doctors, PAs, and support staff, on behalf of myself and Millis Athletics, for all of your help, care, and support through this past school year. I feel very lucky and privileged to have an entire orthopedics office of people who I trust and can always rely on as a resource for the athletes and families here in Millis!
Jamie Farias, Certified Athletic Trainer

It’s hard to put into words how much pain I was in before I decided to see Dr. Rockett about my right hip. I knew him well already because of prior issues with a knee and a shoulder. There was no question in my mind I wanted him to take care of my hip as well. After exhausting all other options, he told me a total hip replacement was my only remaining treatment and I remember thinking it was a joke. I was just barely 50 at the time. The pain of recovery was far less than the presurgical pain. Within a month, I was back to walking my dog–which is all I really cared about. Not long after, my left hip started to bother me. And it got worse and worse until I was back to see Dr. Rockett, who once again tried all other options. At this point I wasn’t shocked when he said a replacement was the last treatment option. It’s now two years after the second hip replacement, and according to my FitBit, I walk over 35 miles a week. Everyone involved with Orthopedics New England is fantastic. Dr. Rockett has certainly seen me at my very worst (presurgical caffeine withdrawal headache!), and he has never had anything but a smile for me. In all these years and the many visits, he has only been late one time–and it was due to a surgical procedure running long. That’s an amazing record for a busy surgeon. I will continue to trust him with all of my orthopedic needs. In addition to replacing both hips, he has repaired both shoulders, and worked on one knee. I highly recommend him!
Susan Scheide

I had rotator cuff surgery 9/20/16 and my experience was extremely positive. Dr. Rockett answers any questions you might have before your surgery and after. I have faith and confidence in Dr. Rockett and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have had a difficult time with my shoulder but I know with surgery and guidance from Dr. Rockett I will be back to myself soon. I have learned I need to be more patient as this surgery takes a long time to heal. Thank you for everything.
Patty Wentworth

Dr. Sullivan-We made our trip to Europe, walked 10-15 miles per day without any back pain. Thanks for your treatment this spring which without it we would not have been able to experience all of Europe.

Bill and Cheryl Burokas

I met Dr. Osuch and knew immediately that he was kind and compassionate. He treated me for two different injuries (one was a broken ankle) and took amazing care of me. Dr. Osuch is the perfect doctor!
Tammy Albanese

Well it’s hard to believe that it’s been one year since taking a chance on you, Dr. Rcokett and your scalpel to give back my pain free days. I’ve got to tell you it was pretty hard being confident that anything or anyone could take the pain away. I never would’ve imagined that “arthritis” could be so debilitating and I’ve finally accepted that I truly am pain free every morning when my toes touch the ground! I wonder with every step if I’m dreaming! Thank you from the very bottom of my heart!

Karen LaPan

I broke my ankle – fibula – on black ice when I slipped. I went to the ER and they referred me to Dr. Healy. The office in Newton was polite, courteous, and professional. They took x-rays and then I met with Dr. Healy. Three weeks later I met again with Dr. Healy at the Natick office. Again, the staff was polite, and professional. Both offices are nice. Regarding Dr. Healy – attentive, professional, kind, informative. He told me what the damage to my ankle was, explained how we were going to address the process of restoring it to functionality. He was not rushed. He was patient. And he was kind. I read in the reviews about ‘wait time’, personally, I found the services to be timely. But, if anyone did have to wait, I would say to be patient…as you want a doctor who doesn’t rush and who spends time with you actually discussing your care in a patient and detailed manner. So, far, I am pleased. Highly pleased. And I would not hesitate one moment in highly recommending Dr. Healy.
David Reid Lowell

Over the last 2.5 years, I’d had very disabling pain in both my thumbs and arms. Dr. Saillant did surgery on both sides – at different times – and is both an extraordinary human being, and an extraordinary surgeon. He used newer techniques that allowed for healing that was twice as fast as conventional techniques. He knows who you are, and has followed up with calls to me at home when I had any questions. Top of my list for doctors and surgeons.
Madeline Grunbaum

I came to Dr. Healy for some help with a minor knee problem. I found Dr. Healy to be engaging, attentive, and warm. I didn’t feel rushed. I felt I had Dr. Healy’s complete attention and concern. He was able to help me and address all my concerns before wrapping up my visit. If I have any future issues with my knee or any other orthopedic issues I will be starting my care with Dr. Healy.
Frank Garrison

Dr. Shah recently treated me for a torn rotator cuff. He was my second opinion doctor and I stayed with him as my 1st choice. His caring way, professional manner and interest in my situation won me over. My husband and I have a very active life style- biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, xcountry skiing, down hill skiing, snowshoeing (yadda yadda yadda). It was important for us to find the best plan for my situation so as we head into our 50’s we are able to continue doing what we love to do as well as stay healthy. My plan was to get better without surgery. Dr. Shah’s plan was the same and with his guidance I am surgery free and better. I am on my way to “having my health 100% restored and getting back to enjoying my active lifestyle”. I am thrilled to report that this weekend we will be kayaking for the first time this Summer. I am so happy. Thank you Dr. Shah!!!! Fondly and with thanks- Lynda Fitzgerald
Lynda Fitzgerald

I wanted to reach out and thank Dr. Osuch and the staff for their help in improving my quality of life with my full knee replacement. It has been 11 months since the surgery and I feel as good as new. No more pain and my everyday duties are not a burden as I have full range of movement. Thank you.
Paul Ethier

Dr. Rose is a wonderful surgeon. He provided me with a “no surprises” experience from diagnosis, thru surgery and recovery for a torn plantar plate. He used state-of-the-art surgical technique that resulted in minimal pain and a very successful outcome. I would recommend him highly to anyone with a foot or ankle problem. Thank you Dr. Rose!
Bob Carnegie

I had a total hip replacement in February 2017, performed by Dr. Shah. I am extremely happy with every aspect of my surgery, from the time Dr. Shah first met with me, right through my recovery and physical therapy. He gave me a thorough explanation of how everything would be handled, and this whole venture turned out to be a “no surprises” experience. He did an excellent job, and I was able to get back to normal activities very quickly. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and extraordinary talent. This accolade is way overdue, so my apologies for not commenting sooner. I would not hesitate to call on Dr. Shah again if needed.
Bob Carnegie

Hey Dr. Rockett,
Haven’t run into you for a while, but wanted to give you an update and thank you for my shoulder repair. Feels amazing, stringing muscle-ups again, and actually squat snatched 160# the other day (which prior to surgery I was struggling to hit 135# without significant pain). Most importantly, no pain day-to-day activities. I can throw a football with my son without any discomfort, pick him up over my head and do all those things that dads do with rambunctious toddlers.

Wow..I can walk normally again! I limped into Orthopedics New England after injuring my knee and was diagnosed with a large tear in the meniscus of my right knee. I am 61 and have never had surgery before, so I was quite apprehensive. Surgery was scheduled with Dr. Shah. Surgery was performed at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. After surgery I was issued crutches and wheeled to the car. I never needed the crutches. I walked from the car up the stairs into the house. Following Dr. Shah’s instructions, I “iced and elevated” for 48 hours. I never experienced any pain and never even took an aspirin. The follow up exam was great. Thanks Dr. Shah!
Bill O’Brien

I’ve just seen Dr. Osuch for the second time-different injury. Both times were a great experience. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Dr. Osuch listened to my concerns/issues and explained things well. The first issue has resolved and this newest issue is on its way. Thank you!

Dr. Sullivan-
RE: Stenosis Shots L4 +L5
I just wanted to say thank you to you, Nurse Pamela and Matt! All so kind and caring….Thank you for making it not such a scare experience!

Pam Capp

I would like to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the wonderful care that I received when I had surgery at Leonard Morse last month. I had shoulder surgery performed by Dr. Ethan Healy with Dr. Dennis Rand providing anesthesiology care. The surgical and anesthesiology care was excellent and the surgical nurse care was excellent as well. I also want to mention the pre-op care which was also great.
Dave Lanteigne

Dear Dr. Shah and Staff,
If a picture is worth a 1,000 words then here are three pictures of thanks. After knee surgery in February and physical therapy, it was no problem at all to climb the stairs to the crown of the Statue of Liberty this weekend! Thanks for your great care! Blessings…
Donna Vuilleumier

I am a 68 year old man who had never had any surgery of any type and I was totally doctor-phobic. Additionally, I’m a fanatical bike rider and dancer, who plays tennis and skis regularly. It would be hard to describe the intense degree of fear I had surrounding the prospect of going “under the knife” to repair a torn meniscus in my left knee for the first time.
Dr. Osuch, with his kind, low-key, assuaging manner was able to defuse some of my extreme paranoia about the impending operation. Dr. Osuch never portrayed any arrogance or a pedantic attitude while thoroughly explaining what the operation would involve. I never felt rushed by him, nor did he ever dismiss my fears, but instead he played along with my twisted brand of humor, which I used to hide my fears. The operation was a miraculous success. I never took any pain medication that I was given. I followed Dr. Osuch’s “flexible activity instructions” and after 6 weeks I’m feeling like I’m about 90% back to being whole again and I’m able to ride my bike 25 miles and dance as I wish. Dr. Osuch is a great surgeon! Thank you Dr. Osuch for keeping my life whole.
Joe Costantino

I saw Dr. Rose for extreme pain in my right heel; he was very friendly and listened carefully to me on every visit. He diagnosed my pain immediately as a heel spur–even before the confirming X-ray. He was very thorough, leveraging many different treatments. Eventually, it seemed surgery was the best option, and he scheduled and completed it quickly. Since the surgery, I have been pain free! I am so grateful for Dr. Rose’s help–it has made a profound difference in my quality of life.

As a “40 Something” year old Mom who has been lucky enough to be able to continue my life long love of horses, riding my own and training others, it was devastating to me in May breaking my foot while under saddle. As a Mom of three a lot of my time is spent on my kiddos. My Equestrian world has become just for me and enables me to be a better Mom as I too, have and live my love as well. I was really frustrated hearing the news of surgery as I have never had surgery in my forty…well life :)! Dr. Rose was incredible, put me at ease, encouraged me, praised me for a healthy active non smoking lifestyle and most important gave me complete hope for a quick and full “back in the saddle” recovery. Well, gosh darn, didn’t it happen just as he said! I’m so happy to be back on my horses and feeling perfect. Lost 25 lbs in the recovery process so an added bonus. The staff in Natick has been wonderful… Always friendly and always supportive. I am so happy today to be once again smelling as awful as I do from barn chores and riding. Thank you to Dr. Rose and staff in Natick. You were what made this Mom be able to continue to have something just for her. Many thanks, Kristin
Kristin Stapleton

Excellent experience. I was seen promptly, and my problem, the prognosis, and treatment plan were explained clearly, fully, and patiently by Dr. Christiano.
Richard Wax

I had a great experience with Orthopedics New England. I tore my ACL in High School and again in College. Both times I felt cared for by the team at Orthopedics New England and received a quick and accurate diagnosis. Immediately Dr. Christiano scheduled a surgery and set a plan for after. Both surgeries went fantastic and by following the set plan I was able to return to the sport I love twice. I am very thankful and would highly recommend Orthopedics New England to anyone who wants to be back doing what they love after a serious injury.
Billy Hicks

Dr. Rockett performed a Bankart repair on my shoulder. I sought him out as a surgeon (changed my pcp to get the referral) because I knew he was a fellow athlete and would consider my activity level. His diagnosis and treatment were perfect, we tried traditional methods before surgery and he did not waste time once it was established that I did require the procedure. He explained everything to me in great detail. I am five months after the surgery and my quality of life is dramatically improved, I can sleep at night without pain. He knew my athletic profile and was neither too conservative or too liberal in getting me back to the gym. Additionally, he was extremely accessible during all phases of my treatment and prepared my expectations accurately. I would highly recommend Dr. Rockett.
